Technically, Wayne gained knowledge and qualifications on both Novell Netware and Microsoft Operating Systems during a 13 year stint in the Australian Army.
Leaving the Army in 1995 as a Certified Novell Instructor, he quickly attained Microsoft Certified Trainer in 1996 and then added CCSI (Certified Checkpoint Security Instructor) in 1997.
Currently Wayne is a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Engineer and Trainer (NT4, Windows 2000/2003) and a Microsoft
Certified IT Pro (Server 2008 Enterprise and Server Administrator, Vista). As well he is a Check Point Firewall Expert (CCSE+) and
assists Check Point; participating in their Exam and Courseware Review Committee.
Wayne specializes in teaching security and networking courses and was awarded Dimension Data Learning Solutions “Instructor of The Year”
in 2001. He was also invited by Microsoft to sit a beta of the Microsoft Certifed Master - Active Directory course on campus in Redmond,
USA, in 2008.
Wayne has developed and taught courses for major Queensland, Australian and New Zealand corporations plus various government departments.
